The Gladstone Healthy Harbour Partnership (GHHP) brings together 25 partner organisations interested in monitoring the health of Gladstone Harbour - Queensland's largest multi-commodity port. Formed in 2013, the partners stem from three levels of government, industry, community, traditional owners and the research sector.

 2024 REPORT CARD 

The Gladstone Healthy Harbour Partnership (GHHP) presents its tenth annual report card to the community and stakeholders. The 2023 Gladstone Harbour Report Card contains results calculated using 33 indicators, derived from 107 different measures, to assess the harbour's Environment, Economic, Social, and Cultural health.

The 2024 Report presents monitoring data collected from July 2023 to June 2024. It includes updated results for all Environmental indicators, and the Economic Performance and Economic Stimulus indicators. There are no new assessments for Social and Cultural indicators this year, as these have remained stable annually.​

To mark the partnership’s decade-long milestone, this special 10th anniversary edition of the Report Card also features trend graphs showing ten-years of overall results for key environmental indicators such as Water and Sediment Quality, Seagrass, Mud Crabs, and Fish Recruitment. The results of the 2022-2023 Litter and Marine Debris assessment, as well as the results of the Human Dimensions survey which assesses the community’s thoughts on waterway health and management, is also included in the 2024 Report.

 2024 TECHNICAL 
REPORT
 

The 2024 GHHP Technical Report provides a comprehensive overview of the 2024 Gladstone Harbour Report Card and contains the complete results for all report card components, Environmental, Social, Cultural and Economic. The technical report explains the drivers and pressures that could influence the results and includes the methodologies employed to collect data and calculate the final grades and scores. A full overview (including maps) of the areas in which monitoring for all four report card components was conducted is also provided.

 EDUCATIONAL RESOURCES 

The GHHP Education Resource Kit contains activities and assessment pieces that form part of the school curriculum for students from prep to grade 12. The kit aims to provide students of all ages with an understanding of the health testing taking place in the Gladstone Harbour.
